DESCRIPTION:Desde 2018, estos cuatro entusiastas del rock que forman DAMANTRA, no han parado de rendir tributo a los discos de Led Zeppelin, The Who, Black Sabbath o Janis Joplin en su estudio de Toulouse. Una mezcla entre ternura y violencia, que alcanza su punto álgido en sus actuaciones en directo, siempre guiadas por la implacable voz y personalidad de Melanie que no para de patear culos. Después varios años preparando su disco debut, con un EP inclúido, finalmente el trabajo vió la luz en 2020, y en el cual predomina el blues rock 70’s mezclado con sonidos más modernos, al más puro estilo Greta Van Fleet, Blues Pills, Rival Sons o Rage Against The Machine. Finalmente tenemos un álbum fresco, dinámico y enérgico que lleva por título “Jekyll and Hyde”. Como resumen de lo que se puede esperar de Damantra, diríamos que si su mantra fuera una tormenta eléctrica, se llamaría Katrina….\n\n
